Our job

Rewrite and edit the English translation of this sparkling coffee-table book. Originally written in Italian, the translation contained many errors and infelicitous phrases. (Idioms, for example, were translated literally and recipe directions were sometimes incomprehensible to an English speaker.) We worked side by side with the author to keep the flavor of the original intact, with its proposed gifts, table settings, and recipes for each sign of the zodiac.

The English version evolved into one in both English and Thai, becoming a birthday gift to the queen of Thailand from her friend, the author.
